The show brings you the opportunity to hear the sounds created by the jazz greats of yore as well as contemporary artists keeping the flame. All of the featured music is on small independent record labels who are doing a damn good job of documenting it. The show also features poets - Langston Hughes, James Emanuel, David Budbill, Mark Weber, Steve Dalachinsky, Barry Wallenstein...
